A quality of service monitor of the electronic device detects satisfaction of a quality of service adjustment condition for changing the quality of service provided to the electronic device by the network. A quality of service manager of the electronic device requests an adjusted quality of service provided to the electronic device by the network. A communication interface of the electronic device communicates in a communication session at the adjusted quality of service provided to the electronic device by the network.
