The display device has a memory unit that stores visual requirements of vehicle occupants, an identification component that identifies a vehicle occupant, a processing unit that is designed to assign the visual requirements to an identified vehicle occupant and transfer the assigned visual requirements to a display. The display is individually adjustable to visual requirements of a vehicle occupant.
