The valve unit has a valve seat, a valve body which can be moved in the axial direction of the standpipe, a valve spring which is guided on the standpipe and biases the valve body in the valve closing direction, and a valve spring support which is attached to the standpipe. The valve body is made of an elastomer body, and an intermediate valve ring which is guided on the standpipe in an axially movable manner, is arranged between the valve spring and the valve body.
