The emissive display also comprises a night pixel configured to operate in the night mode, wherein the night pixel is not operational in the day mode. The emissive display also comprises a common pixel configured to operate in both the day mode and the night mode. The emissive display also comprises a detector configured to selectively change an operating mode of the display between the day mode and the night mode based on a detected indication.
