In one example, a triband antenna system as described herein can include a grounding system including a conductive housing of a wireless communication device and a ground slot structure. The triband antenna system may further include a triband antenna coupled to the grounding system, wherein the triband antenna includes a loop element coupled to the conductive housing, a feeding element, and a parasitic element located within a threshold distance of the feeding element.
