The display controller includes: an external light analyzer setting, in accordance with a received signal of external light information, a second color gamut different from a first color gamut displayable when the external light is not present; and a signal adjuster converting in color a first pixel input signal into a second pixel input signal that reduces a color shift of a second reproduced color in the second color gamut from a first reproduced color in the first color gamut in accordance with the first pixel input signal.
