The apparatus for an information system includes a first communication module for communication with a computer infrastructure, a second communication module for communication with the mobile device, and a control module for controlling the first communication module and the second communication module. The control module obtains information about communication parameters for a communication link between the information system and the mobile device from the mobile device using the computer infrastructure and the first communication module and establishes the communication link between the information system and the mobile device using the second communication module based on the information about the communication parameters.
