A color printing pattern is visible on a topsheet side of the absorbent article. All printed surface area of the color printing pattern onto which a disc with a diameter of 1.5 millimeters can be mapped without extending beyond a periphery of the printed surface area defines one or more continuous colored regions, and each continuous colored region within at least the center portion of the absorbent article is substantially free from large binding points.
