The lamp structure may include at least one optical diffuser having textured surface to direct light; a frame present on at least a portion of a perimeter of the optical diffuser; and a plurality of solid state light emitters that are present between the frame and the optical diffuser, the solid state light emitters emitting light that is received by the optical diffuser.
