The pad has at least one plate and one friction material supported by the plate. The plate has a first side and a second side arranged at opposite tangential ends of the plate. The plate also has at least a first side ear and at least a second side ear. The two ears are each provided with slots. The two slots are adapted to accommodate corresponding associable pins mounted to the caliper body with clearance.
