In some embodiments, the method includes: when a user logs in to a terminal and requests enabling a remote deletion function, acquiring a permission for deleting all information; receiving an all information deletion command sent by a server after the user performs remote login; and performing, according to the command and the permission, an operation of deleting all information in the terminal. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes an acquiring module, a reception module, and a deletion module.
