The light-guiding plate has a notch formed by notching a part thereof. A region between the notch and the entrance opposite surface is a shielded region where the notch blocks light guided through inside the light-guiding plate from the light entrance surface toward the entrance opposite surface, and a condensing member having a reflecting surface that reflects, in a condensing manner toward the shielded region, light having leaked out through the exit opposite surface is provided opposite the exit opposite surface of the light-guiding plate.
