In the method, a luminance histogram of each color channel in a region of interest is obtained based on statistics on luminance of a plurality of sub-region blocks in the region of interest; a first luminance of the each color channel is determined according to the luminance histogram of the each color channel in the region of interest and the corresponding relationship between the luminance and the number of the sub-region blocks; a reference luminance is determined based on the first luminance of the each color channel, the reference luminance corresponding to a reference color channel; a target luminance corresponding to the present AEC luminance is obtained; and a luminance regulation is performed on the reference color channel according to the target luminance.
