When it is determined that a duration that each of N processes in a kernel space of a terminal device is in an uninterruptible sleep state reaches or exceeds a preset period, whether the N processes have undergone a searched and killed operation within the preset period is detected. N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. When the N processes have undergone the searched and killed operation within the preset period, states of the N processes are changed, and an operating system is controlled to run the N processes according to the changed states of the N processes.
