The processor detects an abnormality associated with the resource of the storage apparatus, calculates one or more surplus resource introduction plans capable of coping with the abnormality on the basis of management information of the resource of the storage apparatus when the abnormality is detected, and determines, when there are a plurality of introduction plans, an introduction plan used for coping with the abnormality on the basis of a state in which other abnormalities that are likely to occur concurrently with the abnormality can be coped with, by surplus resources remaining when the introduction plans are executed.
