The target parking space display device includes: an information collector collecting a parking reference point and a width of a search space from a parking assist system; an image acquirer acquiring a top-view image; a controller detecting parking section information corresponding to the parking reference point from the top-view image, and detecting a target parking space occupied by the vehicle on the basis of the detected parking section information, the parking reference point, and the width of the search space; and a display displaying the detected target parking space on the top-view image.
