A UE receives a signal over a plurality of beams from a base station and transmits an indication to the base station in a beam refinement procedure during a hierarchical beamforming process. The indication may comprise at least one of a beam switching capability of the UE, mobility information for the UE, Doppler estimate information for the UE, or a plurality of training signals on a selected beam.
