In addition, a processor performs operations including setting one of the first and second modes as an operation mode to be used for wireless direct connection with an external apparatus, based on a user instruction, causing, in accordance with the instruction to start an operation for the wireless direct connection, the wireless communication interface to operate in the first mode if the first mode is set as the operation mode, and causing the wireless communication interface to operate in the second mode if the second mode is set as the operation mode, and displaying information indicating the set operation mode on a screen related to the wireless direct connection.
