Displaying a permitted assignment user interface may comprise generating a first card representing a first record, wherein the first record comprises an information element that has a first value of a visualization metric, generating an output for display, the output comprising a first lane representing the first value of the visualization metric and comprising the first card, and, in response to operator input indicating a primary context and on a condition that an association between the primary context and the first record is prohibited, updating the output by generating an updated first card representing the first record and indicating that the association between the first record and the primary context is prohibited, and generating an updated output for display omitting the first card and comprising the updated first card.
