An access node can generate a message for at least one communication device for transmission at a resource determined at least partly on the basis of a first identifier value assigned to said at least one communication device. The generation comprises including in the message at least one other identifier value, wherein the other identifier values are assigned to communication devices for a purpose of addressing messages to communication devices. The at least one other identifier value is used exclusively for said at least one communication device at said resource and is recognisable to said at least one communication device as instruction to take one or more actions associated with the at least one other identifier value. A communication device can check for a message at the resource, the checking comprising checking in the message for the one or more other identifier values. In response to detecting one or more of said one or more other identifier values, said communication device can take one or more actions associated with said detected one or more of said one or more other identifier values.
