The bed supports a table top such that the table top is horizontally and vertically movable relative to a floor surface. The processing circuitry determines a lift route of the table top from an initial height to a target height to be either a first route or a second route. The first route is in which the table top is vertically lifted relative to the floor surface from the initial height to the target height. The second route is in which the table top is vertically lifted, while being horizontally moved, relative to the floor surface from the initial height to the target height.
