The apparatus includes: a determination section that determines whether performing overwriting on the input image data using the output image data is possible according to each piece of processing content of the image processing; a controller that performs a setting for setting a storage region of the output image data of the image processing as a region including a storage region in which the input image data on which the overwriting is possible is stored, and performs a control for executing the image processing using the object group, with respect to the image processing for which it is determined that the overwriting is possible.
