A method for deploying a trimming blade on a razor for shaving hair and trimming nose hair, including depressing a plunger on a handle, engaging a linkage system in a handle that connects the plunger to a trimming blade on a head, the head including a razor blade for shaving hair, deploying the trimming blade from said head, depressing the plunger on the handle again, and retracting the trimming blade into a razor side of the head.
