The method comprises: receiving, at a UE and on a band-specific fixed system subband, one or more synchronisation signals; determining, at the UE, and according to the synchronisation signals, a base waveform numerology; and receiving, at the UE and according to the base waveform numerology, system information, wherein the system information defines parameters for a service or services.
