An example method includes receiving an information presentation request sent from a first terminal and acquiring a first network address of the first terminal. At least one account according to the first network address, a first period to which a current time moment belongs, and a prestored correspondence between a network address, a period and an account are determined. Presentation information matching with account information of the at least one account is selected and the presentation information is sent to the first terminal.
