The method includes, detecting, at the first electronic device, a user input in a schedule sharing menu displayed on an email application screen. The method also includes, displaying, at the first electronic device, a schedule sharing input region according to the user input. The method further includes, receiving, at the first electronic device, schedule information input in the schedule sharing input region. The method also includes, storing, at the first electronic device, the schedule information in a schedule management application and a transfer protocol header. The method also includes, transmitting, at the first electronic device, an email including the transfer protocol header to the second electronic device.
