A method can include receiving, by a device comprising a processor, a scheduling parameter via a message that was transmitted via a downlink control channel by a network device, determining that the scheduling parameter is associated with a non-self-decodable transport block, and, in response to the determining, identifying the scheduling parameter as information distinct from scheduling information for the non-self-decodable transport block.
