The electrode structure may include a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a first separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, wherein the positive electrode and the negative electrode have active material layers having different loading levels. A lithium battery may have improved high rate characteristics and lifespan characteristics by including the electrode structure.
