In accordance with at least one embodiment, the information handling system includes a battery having a low temperature cell configured to operate over a lower temperature range and a high temperature cell configured to operate over a higher temperature range, a computational electronic circuit operable to dissipate waste heat as a consequence of performing computation, and a thermal conductor thermally coupled to the high temperature cell and to the computational electronic circuit but not to the low temperature cell.
