The bar-type parameter adjustment elements may be used to ascertain and adjust one or more parameters related to one or more processes performed by the extracorporeal blood treatment systems. The bar-type parameter adjustment element may include a bar element extending from a first end representative of a lower value for an associated parameter to a second end representative of an upper value for the associated parameter, and an indicator element located along the bar element indicating the present value of the associated parameter.
