A body controller controls the imaging element, the transmission unit, and the reception unit. The body controller executes imaging performed by the imaging element and acquires a first image frame, which is a captured image, in response to the imaging request. The transmission unit transmits the live-view image to the electronic terminal after the imaging request without any interruption caused by transmission of the first image frame in response the imaging request.
