Alternatively, a pack (700) can include a base layer (100) and selectively detachable pouches (701, 702). The base layer can selectively fold about the pouches to form a briefcase or suitcase appearance. A fastening extension (116) can selectively hold the base layer in the closed configuration, or can be used as a hanging loop to hang the pack in an open configuration.
