Resource allocation for random access procedure messages
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine information that identifies a resource for transmitting an acknowledgment of a message associated with a random access procedure. The information that identifies the resource may be determined based at least in part on at least one of: a frequency band associated with the random access procedure, a resource associated with at least one message in a sequence of messages associated with the random access procedure, a payload of at least one message in the sequence of messages associated with the random access procedure, or a grant associated with another message in the sequence of messages associated with the random access procedure. In some aspects, the user equipment may transmit the acknowledgment based at least in part on the information that identifies the resource. Numerous other aspects are provided.
