The vapor dispensing apparatus includes: a housing defining a chamber having an inner contact surface, wherein the housing further comprises an aperture providing fluid communication between the chamber and an external environment; an evaporable material receptacle movably disposed within the chamber such that a dispensing portion of the receptacle is disposed in contact with at least a portion of the surface; and a motor coupled to the apparatus, configured to move the receptacle.
