The information processing apparatus comprises a generation unit configured to generate data that does not require the conversion process by the conversion unit of the operating system in a case where a printer driver selected by a user using the application is the printer driver configured to generate page description language data based on drawing data in the first format. The printer driver generates page description language data based on the data generated by the generation unit.
