The apparatus determines that an emergency condition has occurred, based on either comparing the data to one or more pre-defined thresholds and determining that the data indicates an emergency condition or receiving specific input via the user input device. Based on the determining the emergency condition has occurred, the apparatus obtains location information from the location device and transmits a notification that includes the location information, via a network connection, by utilizing the communication device.
