The communication apparatus further receives playback control information about the content from the other communication apparatus. Upon detecting a disconnection of a communication path between the communication apparatus and the other communication apparatus, the communication apparatus performs control in such a manner that a notification based on the disconnection of the communication path is issued to a user.
