CSI that needs to be reported in one uplink subframe may be obtained, and a format of a corresponding PUCCH resource is determined according to the to-be-reported CSI. For example, the determined format is referred to as a first format. Then, all of the to-be-reported CSI is reported after being added to a first first-format PUCCH resource.
