The auxiliary access method comprises: sending at least two access-associated signals by using at least two non-coherent antennas; and receiving at least one access request. According to the method and the apparatus in the embodiments of this application, a probability of a collision between access terminals can be reduced and an access success rate of an access terminal can be improved.
