Radio link monitoring for unlicensed carriers in a radio system
Abstract:
A wireless device receives one or more messages from a base station. The one or more messages comprise configuration parameters of a cell. The configuration parameters indicate: a radio link monitoring reference signal (RLM-RS), a plurality of reference signals (RSs), and a quasi-co-located (QCLed) indication for the RLM-RS. A radio link monitoring (RLM) measurement is performed on the RLM-RS. The wireless device determines that a downlink transmission failure of the RLM-RS is due to a listen before talk (LBT) procedure indicating a busy channel. In response to the downlink transmission failure, a replacement RS is determined from the plurality of RSs based on the QCLed indication for the RLM-RS. The RLM measurement is performed on the replacement RS.
