The system may include a head-mounted display device, at least one sensor implemented on the head-mounted display device, at least one storage medium including a set of instructions, and at least one processor configured to communicate with the at least one storage medium. When executing the set of instructions, the system may be configured to: acquire, by the at least one sensor, a first facial image of a user; and determine, by the at least one processor, an expression of the user at least based on the first facial image of the user.
