The secure data interface system includes a one-way communications interface configured to communicatively couple to a monitoring and protection system to receive data transmitted by the monitoring and protection system, and a processor configured to derive at least one measurement based on the data. The secure data interface system further includes a two-way communications interface configured to communicate the measurement to an external system, wherein the monitoring and protection system is configured to monitor operations of a machinery.
