The control unit is configured to acquire a captured image from the image capturing unit and store the captured image in the storage unit. The control unit is configured to receive, from the different vehicle that is an oncoming vehicle, a determined result as to whether the different vehicle is able to pass. The control unit is configured to determine whether the vehicle is able to pass based on a width of the vehicle and an available road width ahead, determined from the captured image.
