Systems and methods for authenticating a user for a service provider system. A request to authenticate a user is received from a service provider system in an authentication management system. An authentication request is transmitted from the authentication management system to a registered device associated with the user. An authentication confirmation is received from the registered device in the authentication management system. An authentication verification is provided to the service provider system in response to receiving the authentication confirmation.
