The communication terminal is one of a plurality of communication terminals each of which receives a request for communication start from a source communication terminal. The memory stores identification information of the source terminal in response to the request for communication start. The interface responds to the request for communication start, and receives a request for communication establishment from the source terminal. The request for communication establishment is transmitted from the source terminal when the source terminal selects the communication terminal from the plurality of communication terminals each of which responds to the request for communication start. The circuitry determines whether to respond to the request for communication establishment according to a result of comparison between identification information of the source terminal that sends the request for communication establishment and the identification information stored in the memory.
