The control unit receives information about live streaming performed using a plurality of communication apparatuses. The control unit detects the other communication apparatus configured to perform the live streaming, the other communication apparatus being located within the LAN. In a case where the other communication apparatus configured to perform the live streaming is not detected within the LAN, the control unit sets a bit-rate of moving image data to a first bit-rate. In a case where the other communication apparatus configured to perform the live streaming is detected within the LAN, the control unit sets the bit-rate to a second bit-rate, the second bit-rate being lower than the first bit-rate.
