According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor, and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, that include receiving a request string comprising request data related to a request from a first application of a device. The operations further include intercepting a processing of the request string, and based on the intercepting, extracting usage data of a second application of the device encoded in the request string, wherein the usage data is unrelated to the request.
