A base station is also provided, having: a receiver configured to receive mobility information, in particular a Doppler and/or a Delay Spread, signaled by a mobile communication device; and a processor, configured to select a numerology based on the mobility information and to generate a radio signal for transmission to the communication device based on the numerology.
