Abstract:
The disclosure relates to methods at a wireless communication system, a wireless communication device, a network communication node, and a control node, respectively, for bearer control in a wireless communication system (100). Specifically, the method comprises determining (S11), by the WCD or the network communication node, whether the number of radio bearers concurrently active for the WCD is at least one of equal to a threshold value and above the threshold value. If the threshold is reached, then the WCD or the network communication node transmits (S12), towards the control node (300), a first status message indicative of that the number of radio bearers concurrent active has reached the threshold value. The first status message is received by the control node and in response to the reception (S21) of the message the control node determines (S22), based on the first status message, whether an MBMS bearer is to be activated. Further, when it is determined (S22) that the MBMS bearer is to be activated, the control node activates (S23) the MBMS bearer. Corresponding computer programs, computer program products, arrangements, and devices are also disclosed.
