At a user equipment side, the method includes: receiving a group identifier and a paging indicator monitoring occasion transmitted from a base station; monitoring a paging indicator at the paging indicator monitoring occasion; starting to monitor paging control information, when it is monitored that the paging indicator contains the group identifier.
